Fatal Orange County auto-pedestrian crash death of Israel Brumley – Obituary
On Sunday evening, January 3, 2025, 44-year-old Israel Brumley of Beaumont tragically lost his life in an auto-pedestrian crash on FM 1131 near Apple Pie Ridge Road.
Brumley was riding his bicycle west on the shoulder of the road when, for unknown reasons, he veered into the main lane and was struck by a 2013 Nissan Titan. Despite efforts by authorities, he was pronounced dead at the scene by a Justice of the Peace.
The driver of the Nissan, 30-year-old William Dodson III of Jasper, was unharmed in the incident. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
