Fatal North Little Rock officer-involved shooting death of Jeffery Marchbanks – Obituary
On December 17, 2024, Jeffery Marchbanks, 35, was fatally shot by North Little Rock police after a robbery at a gas station.
Officers had responded to the scene of an aggravated robbery at Casey’s gas station on Springhill Drive when they encountered Marchbanks in a nearby wooded area.
Marchbanks, who was armed with a handgun and refused to comply with officers’ commands, reportedly pointed his weapon at them.
In response, an officer fired, striking and killing Marchbanks. The incident is under investigation by detectives.
