Fatal Capitol Hill shooting death of Jonathan A. Adamow – Obituary
Jonathan A. Adamow, 29, tragically lost his life in a shooting early Tuesday morning at the intersection of East Pike Street and Broadway in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. He succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest, as confirmed by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Adamow was the child of a New York City firefighter, and Seattle fire personnel have been offering their support to the grieving family. Members of the Seattle Fire Department gathered outside Harborview Medical Center as Adamow’s body was released to the family for funeral arrangements.
Surveillance footage shows a person standing behind a utility pole before shooting Adamow around 3 a.m. The suspect fled the scene, and a white car was seen leaving shortly after. Police have indicated that Adamow was not the intended target of the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
