Forensic anthropologists have confirmed that a body found in Rothbury, Michigan, has been identified as Kevin Graves, who went missing from the Electric Forest music festival in 2018.
Graves, who was attending the festival for the first time, was last seen after an argument with his girlfriend on the final day of the event.
His remains were discovered near the festival’s campsite area on December 30, 2024. Michigan State Police and forensic experts from Western Michigan University helped confirm his identity using dental records.
Although the cause of death is not yet determined, there are currently no signs of foul play. Graves’ family, who had been searching for him since his disappearance, can now begin to find closure.
