Fatal Far North Dallas shooting death of Keysi Fabiana Matos Delgado – Obituary
On December 30, 2024, 17-year-old Keysi Fabiana Matos Delgado was fatally shot while inside a vehicle in Far North Dallas. The shooting took place at around 11 p.m. in the 3500 block of Timberglen Road, where Keysi was seated in the back of the vehicle. The suspect, 17-year-old Frank Molina Pacheco, allegedly discharged a firearm, striking Keysi. Despite attempts to get her to a hospital, Pacheco crashed near the 12500 block of Dallas Parkway and was arrested, facing a manslaughter charge.
Keysi’s family has expressed their belief that the shooting was not accidental, urging authorities to upgrade the manslaughter charge to murder. Family spokesperson Nicolas Quintanilla suggested that Pacheco had been infatuated with Keysi, who had previously rejected his advances. Keysi’s brother, Keyber Matos Delgado, also voiced concerns, suggesting that Pacheco had intended to kill Keysi.
The Dallas Police Department is continuing to investigate the events surrounding the tragic incident.
