Fatal Gloucester County shooting death of Qaasir K. Greenidge – Obituary
On the night of January 1, 2025, 19-year-old Qaasir K. Greenidge from Sicklerville was tragically killed in a shooting in Monroe Township, Gloucester County.
Police responded to reports of gunfire near Texas and Oklahoma avenues around 8 p.m. and discovered Greenidge in the backyard of a residence on Texas Avenue. He was taken to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead.
The cause of death was determined to be a single gunshot wound, and the case was ruled a homicide. Investigators believe a dispute led to the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are seeking information from the public and have not yet made any arrests.
