On January 2, 2025, two men, Samuel J. Hughes, 36, and his brother Jeffrey J. Hughes, 33, were found shot to death in a business parking lot in the 8700 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard.
Kansas City police responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m., where both victims were pronounced dead. Preliminary findings suggest the shooting followed an interaction between several individuals.
