Fatal Chicago shooting death of Kristina Romandine – Obituary
Kristina Romandine, 33, was tragically found dead from a gunshot wound to the head in her Near West Side apartment on New Year’s Day.
Chicago police responded to the scene just before 8 p.m. in the 1500 block of West Warren Boulevard. Johnnie Matthews, 42, was charged with first-degree murder and weapon possession by a felon after being identified as the shooter.
Matthews was arrested early Thursday and is set to appear in court for a detention hearing.
