Fatal McAllen truck collision death of Norma Edith Celestino – Obituary

On Thursday morning, 31-year-old Norma Edith Celestino from Edinburg lost her life in a tragic crash involving a tractor-trailer in McAllen.

The accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. near the intersection of Monte Cristo Road and Ware Road, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the McAllen Police Department.

 

Authorities reported that Celestino, who was driving a gray truck, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical attention.

 

The tractor-trailer driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. At this time, no charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
