Fatal Union County crash death of Robert Fred Kenyon and Steven Bradly Botter – Obituary

Two men, Robert Fred Kenyon, 60, of Nampa, and Steven Bradly Botter, 47, of Spokane, were killed in a tragic multi-vehicle accident on January 1, 2025, in Union County.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:26 p.m. on Interstate 84 when Kenyon’s Mack commercial truck, which had been stopped to install chains due to poor road conditions, was struck by Botter’s westbound Freightliner.

The collision caused a chain reaction when another Freightliner, driven by Sing Manvir, 28, from Fresno, also collided with the vehicles. Kenyon and Botter were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Manvir sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The highway was closed for nearly ten hours during the investigation. The incident is under investigation by authorities.
