Fatal East Baton Rouge Parish crash death of Alice F. Hamilton – Obituary
Alice F. Hamilton, 78, tragically lost her life in a car crash on Sunday evening, January 5, in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.
According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 20300 block of Pride-Baywood Road.
Hamilton was driving westbound when, for reasons not yet determined, her vehicle veered off the right side of the road and into a ditch. The vehicle struck a culvert, coming to a sudden halt.
Authorities confirmed that Hamilton was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have indicated they do not currently suspect impairment, though the coroner will assess whether a medical issue may have contributed to the accident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
