Richmond police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on Treehaven Drive on Sunday night. The deceased was 43-year-old Arnaldo Melendez-Perez, who was found with a gunshot wound in the 1600 block of Treehaven Drive at approximately 8:55 p.m. Officers arrived to the scene and confirmed that he was dead.
The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner. This marks the second fatal shooting on Treehaven Drive within a month, with the first occurring on August 9, where a 24-year-old man was also killed.
