Family members have identified 70-year-old Beverly J. Fair as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run crash that took place in Milwaukee on Saturday night.
According to Milwaukee police, the incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of 34th and Lloyd streets. A car traveling northbound on 34th Street collided with another vehicle, which was carrying Fair and traveling westbound on Lloyd Street.
Fair’s family shared heartfelt tributes, remembering her as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who was deeply involved in her church and community. They expressed their grief, saying the tragedy had taken a precious person from their lives too soon.
The driver of the first vehicle fled the scene on foot, and police are actively searching for the suspect. Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact them directly or to remain anonymous through Crime Stoppers.
