Fatal Gilbert crash death of Caleb O’Neal Scott – Obituary
Caleb O’Neal Scott, 20, of Phoenix, tragically lost his life on January 5, 2025, in a crash on Loop 202 near Gilbert Road. The accident occurred when the car he was riding in, a white Infiniti, crashed into a barrier after the 19-year-old driver lost control.
Following the initial crash, two passengers, including Scott, exited the vehicle and were standing on the freeway when they were struck by a silver Ford SUV. Scott was pronounced dead at the scene, while another passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Infiniti, suspected of being impaired, is facing pending charges. The driver of the Ford SUV is not facing charges.
