Fatal Wolfe County crash death of Carl Osborne – Obituary

Carl Osborne, 39, of Thornton, was killed in a tragic crash on January 5, 2025, along Kentucky Highway 15.

Osborne was driving a Ford Fusion northbound when he crossed into the path of a Chevrolet Express Van, driven by 37-year-old David Lemus Castro from Lexington.

The collision led to both drivers being pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the van, who has not been identified, was airlifted to the UC Medical Center with chemical burns.
