David Tinglas-Suanzin, 34, tragically passed away after being hit by a suspected drunk driver on December 22 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
According to authorities, Tinglas-Suanzin was crossing Ayers Street near McArdle Road when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Nadine Tijerina. He was quickly transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police reported that Tijerina appeared intoxicated at the time of the incident. She was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle.
Additionally, officers discovered marijuana in her vehicle, leading to a separate charge for possession of marijuana.
