Ezra Williams, a 19-year-old resident of Jeanerette, has been identified as the victim who tragically lost his life in a three-vehicle crash that occurred on Friday, January 3, at approximately 1:45 p.m. The accident took place in the 600 block of Lafayette Street, also known as Youngsville Highway.
Officers from the Youngsville Police Department responded to the scene, where they discovered a multi-vehicle collision involving significant injuries. According to reports, Ezra Williams was pronounced dead at the scene by Acadian Ambulance Service personnel.
