Police have confirmed that 76-year-old John Jones is the victim of a murder investigation in Aylesbury. Mr. Jones was found with serious injuries in Silverdale Close on Friday, January 3, after Thames Valley Police responded to a call at 4:20 p.m.
Despite efforts from emergency services, Mr. Jones tragically died at the scene. His identity was formally confirmed on January 6. The victim’s family is being supported by family liaison officers, and they have requested privacy during this difficult time.
Police have charged 80-year-old Peter Kindell with murder, as well as additional charges of possessing an offensive weapon and a bladed article.
Kindell appeared in court on January 6 and will face further proceedings at Reading Crown Court on January 8. Investigations are ongoing.
