A tragic shooting in Florida City claimed the life of 13-year-old Johvon Tayor on Saturday night. Police reported that the incident occurred around 8 p.m. in the 1300 block of Northwest 6th Avenue.
Officers discovered Tayor in a backyard suffering from gunshot wounds. First responders provided emergency care before he was airlifted to Jackson South Trauma Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
