Marvin O. Molina Gonzalez, a 21-year-old cyclist with no permanent residence, tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle on New Year’s Eve in Chesterfield County, Virginia.
The Chesterfield County Police Department reported that the incident occurred at approximately 6:42 p.m. on December 31 in the 16500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. When officers arrived, they discovered Gonzalez had been thrown from his bicycle due to the impact.
The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. Police have stated that the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
