Fatal Portsmouth shooting death of Brent Andre Hargraves – Obituary
Police are investigating the death of 36-year-old Brent Andre Hargraves, who was found dead in a crashed vehicle late Monday night.
Officers responded to a call about a gunshot wound at around 11:23 p.m. on the 10 block of Calvin Street, a residential area near Douglass Park Elementary School.
Upon arrival, they discovered Hargraves unresponsive inside the vehicle, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Major Crime Unit has launched a homicide investigation, but no further details have been released at this time.
