Fatal Kenner death of Charles Veith – Obituary.
The body of a 79-year-old man from Houston, Charles Veith, was discovered on December 31 after he had been reported missing on Christmas Day.
Veith had been visiting family in Louisiana for the holidays when he disappeared. Police were called to the Kenner Boat Launch in Louisiana, where they found his body floating in the water.
The vehicle he had been driving, a grey Ford Edge with a Texas Knights of Columbus license plate, remains unaccounted for. Authorities reported no signs of foul play at the scene, and the Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office has taken his body for an autopsy.
The investigation into his death is ongoing, and anyone with relevant information is asked to contact the Kenner Police Department.
