Fatal Tyler apartment shooting death of Cheyenne Russell – Obituary
Cheyenne Russell, 26, from Nacogdoches, tragically lost her life in a shooting at an apartment complex on Bellwood Lake Road in Tyler on Monday afternoon.
Tyler Police officers responded to the scene around 3:05 p.m. after receiving reports of a homicide. Inside the apartment, Russell was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was later confirmed dead.
The suspect in this case has been identified as 29-year-old Jorian Jackson from Plano. A murder warrant with a $1 million bond has been issued for Jackson.
Although police found a black 2010 Ford F-150 with a Texas handicap plate 9PFMW, the suspect was not located in the vehicle. Jackson is considered armed and dangerous.
