Fatal Cottage City shooting death of Oluwatosin Adetula – Obituary
Oluwatosin Adetula, 36, of Hyattsville, tragically died from gunshot wounds sustained in a shooting on New Year’s Day in Cottage City.
Adetula, who was working as a rideshare driver, was found around 10:40 p.m. on January 1 in a parking lot on Bladensburg Road.
Officers responded to the scene, and Adetula was rushed to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, January 7. Police have not yet identified any suspects or disclosed a motive for the shooting.
The community mourns the loss of Adetula as authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
