Fatal Montgomery shooting death of Rodriquez Harris Jr. – Obituary
Rodriquez Harris Jr., a 24-year-old resident of Montgomery, was tragically shot and killed Tuesday afternoon, marking the city’s first homicide of the year. The incident occurred near the Chevron gas station on Zelda Road around 12:30 p.m.
Dozens of law enforcement officers quickly responded to the scene, with units on the ground and in the air. The area around the 2600 block of Zelda Road was cordoned off with crime scene tape, and traffic was initially blocked toward Ann Street at Gatsby Drive. Police have since reopened the roadway.
