Fatal Syracuse car crash death of Tina Tice – Obituary
Tina Tice, 64, passed away on Monday due to injuries she sustained after being struck by a car on James Street in Syracuse. The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. on December 29 while Tice was crossing James Street near North State Street.
Emergency responders transported her to Upstate University Hospital in critical condition, but despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries several days later.
Authorities identified the driver as 46-year-old Marquise Williams, who has been charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, driving while intoxicated, and second-degree vehicular assault.
Williams was released on an appearance ticket as the investigation continues.
