Fatal Tuscarawas County car crash death of Deborah A. Davis – Obituary
On Wednesday afternoon, a tragic single-vehicle accident on State Route 93 near milepost 13 in Tuscarawas County claimed the life of 57-year-old Deborah A. Davis from Dundee. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Davis was driving a gray 2006 Honda CR-V westbound from a private driveway when the vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a guardrail.
Emergency responders transported Davis to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Agencies assisting at the scene included the Strasburg Fire Department, Wayne Township Fire Department, the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office, and Finlayson’s Towing.
Authorities stated that alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the crash, and Davis was confirmed to be wearing her seatbelt at the time of the incident. The investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing.
