Alex Kemp, a 19-year-old college student and freshman at Williams College, lost his life following a tragic skiing accident at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock, Massachusetts.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, according to a statement released by the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office.
Emergency services were alerted by a 911 call at 2:39 p.m. The caller reported that Kemp had gone off an embankment on the left side of Cutter Trail, suffering severe head injuries.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
