Neil Plumber, 41, of Greenville, lost his life in a tragic crash on I-376 in Lawrence County earlier this week. The accident occurred Tuesday when a pickup truck, driven by a 26-year-old woman from Youngstown, lost control in Neshannock Township, crossed the median, and collided with a utility van traveling westbound.
Plumber, the van’s driver, was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The accident was one of several that day, resulting in the temporary closure of the highway. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
