49-year-old Roy Dacke from Beaumont tragically lost his life in an auto-pedestrian collision on Sunday night. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Highway 347 near the Beaumont city limits.
According to investigators, Dacke was involved in a domestic disturbance with the female driver, and he stepped out of the vehicle before being struck by another car.
Despite the efforts of officers and emergency responders, Dacke was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is still ongoing, and no charges have been filed as of yet.
