Anthony Shell, a 58-year-old man from Lebanon, Ohio, lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 east of Topeka, Kansas. The crash occurred late Friday morning, January 19, 2025, at approximately 11:25 a.m., near the East Topeka service area on the Kansas Turnpike.
Shell was driving a 2024 Kenworth semitrailer westbound on I-70 when the vehicle veered off the roadway to the right, striking a bridge pillar. He was the sole occupant of the semi and was pronounced dead at the scene.
