Fatal Paramus pedestrian accident death of Eduardo Cinca – Obituary.

Authorities have identified Eduardo Cinca, an 82-year-old resident of Paramus, as the pedestrian fatally struck by a pickup truck earlier this week. The incident occurred on Wednesday around 6:50 p.m. as Cinca attempted to cross Farview Avenue from west to east.

 

According to Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti, Cinca was hit by a 2019 Dodge Ram truck heading northbound. Despite efforts by responding officers to save him, paramedics pronounced Cinca dead at the scene.

 

The driver of the truck, a 48-year-old resident of Paramus, has not been named, and no charges or complaints have been filed at this time. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, with the Paramus Police Department, the Bergen County Fatal Accident Unit, and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department all involved.
