Fatal Birmingham shooting death of Kejuan Kenneth Evans Gibson – Obituary

Kejuan Kenneth Evans Gibson, a 29-year-old man, was fatally shot in Birmingham’s Fountain Heights neighborhood on Thursday night.

The incident occurred around 8:22 p.m. in the 1400 block of 12th Avenue North.

Police responded to calls about a shooting and found Gibson lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds.

Despite efforts by Birmingham Fire and Rescue to save him, Gibson was rushed to UAB Hospital, where he later died.

Authorities believe the victim was involved in an argument with an unknown suspect, which led to the shooting.

No suspects have been taken into custody yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
