The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the death of 22-year-old Matthew Ryan Parker Warren of Columbia, who succumbed to injuries sustained in a vehicle crash nearly two weeks ago. On January 10, at 8:35 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to a crash involving two vehicles at 3755 Cross Anchor Rd. in Enoree.
The victim was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where, on Monday, he was pronounced brain dead. Following his passing, the coroner released his identity on Friday, explaining that the delay in the announcement was due to the respect for his organ and tissue donation. South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the inc ident.
