Randy Allan Woltz dies in fatal Tucson car crash

Fatal Tucson car crash death of Randy Allan Woltz – Obituary.

This morning, 18-year-old Randy Allan Woltz lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Tucson’s east side. Authorities reported that Woltz was driving westbound on Tanque Verde Road at approximately 4:30 a.m. when he failed to navigate a curve due to excessive speed.

 

The vehicle veered off the road, mounted a raised curb, and collided with a palm tree. Woltz, the sole occupant of the car, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

 

According to the Tucson Police Department, containers of alcohol and marijuana paraphernalia were discovered in the car. Additionally, it was noted that Woltz was not wearing a seatbelt.

 

Investigators are awaiting medical records to determine if impairment was a factor in the crash. The investigation remains active.
