Fatal Kansas City shooting death of Amauri Holland Williams – Obituary
Kansas City police have identified 18-year-old Amauri Holland Williams as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on January 20, 2025, at the intersection of 56th Street and Westridge Road.
Officers responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m. and found Williams suffering from gunshot wounds in a yard near the location.
Witnesses were providing aid, and he was quickly transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The police are treating the incident as a homicide and are working to determine the events leading up to the shooting.
No arrests have been made as of yet. Authorities are encouraging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
