Fatal Jackson County, Iowa crash death of Terry J. Gurley – Obituary
Authorities have identified 48-year-old Terry J. Gurley of Cascade, Iowa, as the victim of a deadly crash that occurred on January 20th.
The incident took place at 6:07 p.m. when Gurley’s Jeep Grand Cherokee crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Ford 350 traveling in the opposite direction.
The force of the crash left the Jeep in the ditch and the Ford on the shoulder. Gurley was declared dead at the scene by emergency responders.
Two occupants from the Ford, 27-year-old Kyle L. Harland and 22-year-old Megann L. Post, both from Maquoketa, Iowa, sought medical attention at a local hospital.
The Iowa State Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
