Authorities have identified 45-year-old Nathan Rankins of Pacific as the victim of a deadly crash that took place on Saturday, January 18, in Gray Summit.
Rankins was riding a 1990 Yamaha dirt bike without lights when he was struck by a vehicle on the Highway 100 overpass above Interstate 44 just before 6 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a white SUV heading east on Highway 100 turned left to merge onto I-44, colliding with Rankins and causing him to fall from the overpass onto the interstate below. A second vehicle
