Fatal SeaTac shooting death of Eucharise John Tavita – Obituary

A deadly shooting in SeaTac on January 25, 2025, has claimed the life of 25-year-old Eucharise John Tavita, also known as Endurance Brown. The King County Medical Examiner confirmed his identity following the tragic incident.

 

Authorities responded to the 3700 block of South 170th Street, where Tavita was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Despite emergency responders arriving quickly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

A 33-year-old suspect, who sustained non-firearm-related injuries during the altercation, was taken to Harborview Medical Center before being booked into the King County Jail. He now faces charges of homicide and first-degree assault.

 

Witnesses reported that an argument between the suspect and Tavita escalated into a physical fight before the suspect allegedly pulled a firearm and opened fire. A woman at the scene was also injured, sustaining a gunshot wound to the leg.

 

The medical examiner has ruled Tavita’s death a homicide, and authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
