Fatal Colorado Springs structure fire death of Aaron Roper – Obituary
Aaron Roper, a 61-year-old man from Colorado Springs, tragically died in a structure fire on Monday night, January 29, 2025, at a property located on East Boulder Street.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m. and found Roper unresponsive. Despite efforts by medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and it has not yet been confirmed whether his death was directly linked to the fire. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office is working on determining the official cause of death.
Roper is being remembered fondly by his family, and a GoFundMe campaign has been set up by his sister to assist with funeral expenses.
