Fatal Lewes pedestrian crash death of Deborah Priddy – Obituary
Deborah Priddy, a 63-year-old woman from Milton, Delaware, tragically passed away after being struck by a vehicle on January 30, 2025, in a parking lot in Lewes.
The incident occurred around 3:22 p.m. when a black 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling southbound through the parking lot of Weis Markets on North Village Main Boulevard.
At the time, Priddy was crossing the lane of travel in front of the Jeep. Despite her presence, the Jeep continued its southbound path and struck her.
She was immediately transported to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. The Delaware State Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash.
