Fatal Austin pedestrian crash death of Beth Wynne Dahl – Obituary
Beth Wynne Dahl, 63, lost her life following a hit-and-run incident in the 13000 block of Pond Springs Road in Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, the crash occurred around 2:44 a.m. on January 31, 2025, when a vehicle struck Dahl, who was walking in the area. The driver did not stop and fled the scene. Emergency responders transported Dahl to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead on February 1.
Authorities have classified this as Austin’s fifth fatal crash of the year. Investigators are actively searching for the vehicle involved and urge anyone with information to contact APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit or submit tips anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program.
