Fatal Port St. Lucie crash death of John Bradley – Obituary

John Bradley, a 72-year-old resident of Port St. Lucie, lost his life following a single-vehicle accident on Southeast Village Green Drive last week, authorities confirmed on Monday.

Bradley was driving a Toyota Tundra pickup on January 31 when the vehicle rolled multiple times near Southeast South Niemeyer Circle. His wife, 72-year-old Martha Bradley, was also in the truck when the accident occurred.

Police responded to the crash scene around 9:40 a.m., east of U.S. 1 and just north of Southeast Walton Road. Investigators determined that as the truck approached a curve, the driver failed to navigate the turn, hitting the curbed center median and then crashing into a large tree. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn several times, ejecting both John and Martha Bradley.

Emergency crews transported the couple to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, where John Bradley was pronounced dead. Martha Bradley sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
