Fatal La Salle County motorcycle crash death of John Nicholas Ruiz – Obituary
John Nicholas Ruiz, 35, of Cotulla, TX, lost his life Sunday evening in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in La Salle County.
According to Texas DPS, the accident occurred around 7 p.m. on IH-35 South near mile marker 72. Investigators determined that Ruiz was riding a blue Harley Davidson when he failed to maintain his lane, causing the motorcycle to drift into the center median. The bike then struck the median cable, ejecting him from the vehicle.
Ruiz was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
