Fatal Anderson County, Tennessee car crash death of Salvatore Varsalona – Obituary
A deadly collision occurred on the evening of February 2 in Anderson County, Tennessee, resulting in the death of local attorney Salvatore Varsalona.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s preliminary report, the crash took place at approximately 5:57 p.m. on Brushy Valley Road near Pumpkin Hollow Road. Varsalona was driving a 2014 Ford Escape when his vehicle crossed the double yellow line into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with a 2014 Ford F-250.
Varsalona was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford F-250, identified as Jason McNair, was uninjured in the crash.
Both vehicles came to an uncontrolled stop in the middle of Brushy Valley Road. Authorities have not yet determined the exact cause of the accident, and the investigation remains ongoing. At this time, no charges have been filed.
