Fatal Lynchburg motorcycle crash death of Theodore Edward Dow – Obituary

A motorcycle crash in Lynchburg on Sunday claimed the life of 37-year-old Theodore Edward Dow of Bedford.

 

Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 5:21 p.m. in the southbound lanes of U.S. 501, just before the Wards Road exit. Officers from the Lynchburg Police Department and emergency personnel from the Lynchburg Fire Department arrived to assist, but Dow succumbed to his injuries.

 

Officials confirmed that Dow was the sole rider involved in the crash. The Lynchburg Police Department extended its condolences to his loved ones. No further details about the incident have been released at this time.
