Fatal Bloomington car crash death of Yadira Gabriela Hernandez Aguilar – Obituary

A tragic accident on snow-covered roads early Monday morning claimed the life of 45-year-old Yadira Gabriela Hernandez Aguilar. The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. on westbound Interstate 494 near Highway 169 in Bloomington, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Authorities reported that Hernandez Aguilar was driving a Chevy Impala when the vehicle lost control, spinning across multiple lanes of traffic. A semi-truck traveling in the left lane collided with the driver’s side of the Impala.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Hernandez Aguilar succumbed to her injuries. The semi-truck driver, a 76-year-old man from Eagan, was not injured in the crash.

Both individuals had their seat belts on at the time of the accident, and officials do not believe alcohol played a role in the incident. The crash remains under investigation.
