Joseph Donohue, a 65-year-old attorney, was tragically found dead on his houseboat in Boston after being stabbed multiple times. The discovery was made after Donohue’s family, unable to reach him for two days, requested a well-being check.
When police arrived, they were met by 24-year-old Nora Nelson, who initially lied about the situation, telling officers that Donohue was at a strip club. However, upon further investigation, police discovered Donohue’s body wrapped in a covering and weighted down, along with cleaning supplies and blood evidence.
Nelson, who has been charged with first-degree murder, denied any involvement in the crime. The murder weapon, believed to be a knife, was recovered from the water, and fragments of Nelson’s fingernails were found on the victim’s body. Nelson’s legal representative insists she remains innocent.
Authorities also revealed that Nelson is facing additional charges in Texas and has an open assault case involving an ex-boyfriend in Boston.
The investigation into the stabbing continues.Emergency responders transported him to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities reported that the exit ramp involved in the crash was temporarily closed but has since reopened. The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation. Rivera’s untimely passing has left the community mourning the loss of a loved one.
