Fatal Wilson County, Kansas crash death of Leisa Snyder – Obituary
A 35-year-old woman, Leisa Snyder from Altoona, Kansas, tragically lost her life in a crash that occurred on the morning of February 5, 2025. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the incident took place at 10:35 a.m. on Kansas 47, approximately four miles east of Altoona in Wilson County.
Snyder, who was traveling west in a 2005 Saturn Ion, crossed into the opposite lane and collided with the rear axle of an eastbound semi-truck. Despite efforts to respond, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck, a 35-year-old man from Decatur, Georgia, was unharmed in the accident.
