Olivia Miller dies in fatal Topeka shooting

Fatal Topeka shooting death of Olivia Miller – Obituary

Olivia Miller, 51, of Topeka, has been identified as the victim in the city’s first homicide of 2025. She was fatally shot in an incident that also left two others critically injured.

 

Authorities responded to a shooting call around 7:30 a.m. on Friday, February 7, in the 2700 block of Southwest Burnett Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered three individuals suffering from life-threatening injuries. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

 

Police later arrested 29-year-old Devin M. Miller of Topeka in connection with the shooting. He has been charged with first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated battery.
